Hello Fellow Bloggies!
Well, let me first say Thank you to all of our Design Team Members! Our first 6 month term is over at the end of this month, and I was very fortunate to work with this team. Their designs are an inspiration to all of us, and I can’t thank them enough for all the patience they had to give me for our first DT. So, sincere thanks to all of you!
We are going to host our very first ever blog hop!!
Our blog hop will start on Friday August 18, 2011 and end on Thursday August 25, 2011 at 7:00 central time. The winner will be announced the following day. So, check back here to see who the winner is!
The theme will be bright colors, and everyone has done a fabulous job on their projects.
In the Class Act/Chapel Road Blog Hop...
You will see the newest releases from both of these lines on this hop.
Please leave a comment on every project of each design team member, and have your name entered into the draw to win a free rubber stamp from our Class Act line of stamps. I really can't believe we are almost half way through August! Where did the summer go? I haven't even had time to enjoy a cooling drink by the pool. The new designs for August may encourage everyone to stop what they are doing and take a relaxing break. The shape of this stamp and the intricate design needed a simple treatment and was just asking to be put on a step card. The stamp was coloured with OMS and coloured pencils then sponged on the outside with a light blue with a contrasting matt of black. A small touch of glitter makes the glassware sparkle. (if it was only that easy! ) LOL.
Enjoy the sunshine and the beautiful weather when you can.

And some cards from the wonderful Sue!! (sorry I'm late posting them... :()
The new releases for July are the only cool things about this whole month. I love them because there are so many options. The card to-day is a box card. It's handy for holding a gift card..some snaps from a recent occasion.. or a bookmark for summer reading. Double sided paper/cardstock was used and folded into a box. A 'belly band' holds the card together and decorated with punches and layers of cardstock. The images were stamped in black and coloured with prisma pencils and OMS then cut out. The hat was popped on a foam dimensional and a tiny bow tied on the back. The strawberry inside was stamped on red and coloured with ink sponged on with make-up applicators.
